Contract & Tax Officer

Key responsibilities
  • Review inbound contracts, provide advice to colleagues across the organization on potential legal issues and risks especially financial .

  • Communicate key contractual terms to project managers, CEO and CFO and support with the understanding of the contract requirements.

  • Support the business development team with the provision of legal advice in relation to bid writing and contract negotiation.

  • Negotiate terms of contracts in various languages with various organizations.

  • Make sure corporate tax returns and VAT returns are prepared correctly, in due time and that they comply with the legal stipulations.

  • Provide advice, guidance and recommendation regarding the tax reporting process/obligations, potential developments and issues which could be generated by these obligations

According to profile

Job requirements
  • Experience in a big audit firm is a must

  • Strong experience in accountancy, contracting and logistics

  • Excellent communications skills both written and oral

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Fluency in English, Russian, German is mandatory, French or any other language are strong assets

  • Master of Business Administration or Financial degree

  • Over 10 years relevant experience required

Preferred skills
  • Logistics degree would be an asset

  • Knowledge of the Luxemburgish state environment

  • ESA documentation experience
